“It’s been a great service so far and the system works great especially when I can edit on my phone in busy periods. So keep up the good work.”
Nook & Cranny in Bromley Cross is a micropub & bottle shop offering a homely and relaxing space where guests can try from a range of over 40 local beers. Owners James Martin and Craig Egan embarked on the project after noticing that nowhere in the area was really catering to their passion for great beer.
Along with the many challenges involved in opening a new venue was sourcing a good pub EPOS. James had found till systems he had used in the past to be slow and outdated so he started the search from scratch. “I searched high and low to find a system but either the service was slow or the price structures were way out of range. I came across BarTab and liked the look of the system and the service replies were quick and positive.”
James found the help he received setting up the system to be a real advantage to someone who’s never set up an EPOS before. Then in the opening days and weeks the responsive support was a great help for any last minute question or requests.
Now fully up and running the feedback from customers has been really positive with online reviews heralding “the best pub in the Bromley Cross area” and a “cracking selection of beers”.
The epos is helping cope with this increased demand “It’s been a great service so far and the system works great especially when I can edit [menus] on my phone in busy periods. So keep up the good work”.
Having got off to such a great start the duo are already thinking about the next site, but are prepared to be patient to find the right location. In the meantime all the focus is on improving the customer experience further, with plans to host meet the brewer events and tasting nights, and then to brew their own beer.
